This is pretty cool. For anyone who loved the original video game, Space Invaders. Here's a version using stop-motion animation and real people.

My nephew had to better his community in order to attain his Eagle Scout badge. He chose to relocate some old playground equipment from a former elemetary school to a neighborhood park that lacked any playground equipment. He gathered some family, friends, and fellow boyscouts to get the job done. It was a long hard Saturday, be we accomplished our goal, and the neighborhood kids that got that new equipment were very happy to say the least. If you have an opportunity to help your community, I highly recommend it!

Ode to Jay Dedman

As I was exploring the "Vlogosphere" a few months ago, I came across this video by Jay Dedman and it moved me. I can't say why exactly, it just seemed to summerize some thoughts on perception nicely and also showed that even the most seemingly mundane and everyday occurences can contain life-changing kickstarts....it all depends on your perception.

So Jay, this one's for you. I woke up early last Saturday morning and during my first cup of coffee, looked down and was immediatly reminded of your original video.

Deer In Woods

This is another deer sighting we had at our house. It was about 9:30 on Sunday morning and it was the first thing we saw when we woke up. It is not the most exciting video, but it was pretty cool to see this animal just doing his thing.
