The independant film industry is really growing here and I decided to try my hand at acting; well auditioning anyway. This post covers the day of my very first audition. Hopefully, I'll get the part and be able upload future vlogs on the process of acting! Only time will tell.

We woke up this morning and looked out the front window while making coffee at about 8am. We saw three 2nd year fawns and their Mom walking right out in the open. It was a beautiful sight first thing in the morning;)

8mm Film Transfer

I took on a job of transferring 67 rolls of 8 and super 8mm film and this is a quick little video that shows my setup. It's not the professional way to do it, but it works with acceptable results.

The Animals

Here's a quick vlog of our animals. I'm really having fun with vlogging. It's awfully strange seeing yourself from a different perspective....it's giving me a more well-rounded view of myself and I'm seeing lots of room for improvement! The Heist Movie Trailer

My youngest nephew came up with the concept of filming him doing a "Heist" of his older brother's room. Click the picture on the left to see the preview.

He's really starting to get the idea of how to think of camera shots, angles, continuity, etc. I can't wait to see what he'll come up with next!
