OneEyedView Renewed!

Well, I asked the question last week; should OneEyedView continue? The answer is....yes!

After much thought, I have gained a renewed sense of purpose and I've decided to continue the OneEyedView blog. Not only that, but it is now in the process of being completely re-designed with a much nicer look and feel, more content than you can shake a stick at, and also hosted independently of Blogger.

Should I Continue?

As anyone who is subscribed to OneEyedView knows, I haven't posted regularly for quite some time. I need your help and opinions please.

I originally started OneEyedView as a personal video blog, but I soon realized that the video blogs I like to watch, are more like actual video series'. With that in mind, I moved onto other hobbies with web development and ecommerce taking the lead. Along this learning curve I have become much more self-relient and prefer to host my own blogs for example. OneEyedView is hosted with Google and although I have never had any problems, if OneEyedView continues, it will be a new design and on my own terms (as far as hosting and customized blog extras).

So, if I do continue with a semi-personal blog, what do I have to share with complete strangers that would benefit them? What would someone reading OneEyedView expect or want to see? I'm trying to avoid just using a blog as a way to blab my opinions to the masses(36 readers in a year so far;) I would like to offer some real benefits to people.

If you're reading, won't you please offer me your opinions by way of email or comments on your thoughts on what OneEyedView is, could be, or should be...if it continues?

Thanks.

Brent was there...

We went to a restaurant in Orlando with my wife's friends who also happened to be her bride's maids at our wedding not long ago. We happened to sit at a table directly beneath these paintings. We thought it a weird coincidence that there is one of pink converse shoes (which most of the bride's maids were wearing that night) and one of a skateboarder in front of a big eye (I used to skate quite often and still love it, and I have one eye)....so we talked about how that was pretty cool. Then I noticed the name of the artist and to my surprise the last name is the same as that of my brother who passed away 3 1/2 years ago.

During our wedding we had a memorial table for my wife's father and sister, and also my brother. We felt so much love that day, and many of the pictures (from different camera's) have "Orbs" in them located around us and our guests. We definatley felt like they were with us that day and always.

Where I learned the difference between boy and girls.
